Interactivity Project End

I have finally completed my film about public playgrounds and the proposed 'interactive playground' of the future, which in my opinion takes away the heart and soul of a source of fun and entertainment that has stood the test of time for well over 100 years. In my film I show a clip of the proposed 'interactive playground' which is the computer generated promo from the company, the full video is here...

or visit the company website:

the company has actually made interactive playgrounds in its native Finland and they have even installed one in a U.K school.

this might be an opportunity to delve into what's been written around the subject of play and fun and the amalgamation of these, previously separated activities, into the everyday experience too. i mentioned some texts regarding this. perhaps even Baudrillard had something interesting to say (he referred to Disney frequently) which was relevant. These don't need to go into the documentary unless you are planning to make three as we discussed. Thinking about it this might make interesting Interactive: if firstly the level of the user is discovered and then a documentary suited to that level is chosen.
